Battle River Teachers Must Create An ATA Membership Account -

It is essential that all members create an online ATA Account. If you do not have one, you will be unable to access vital information regarding negotiations, elections, or important upcoming events

There are three steps to creating an account.

As a member of The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA), your account will provide access to member-only sites and web-based services, including online registration and voting in ATA elections. For non-members, your account will grant you access to register for ATA events that you are eligible to attend.

ATA members are required to provide their teaching certificate number when creating an account.

If you do not have your teaching certificate number, you can request it from your school board’s human resources department or Alberta Education (call toll-free at 310-0000 and ask for Teaching & Leadership Excellence). You also may request it from the ATA – just call 1-800-232-7208 or 780-447-9400 and ask for Teacher Qualification Service.

If you are not a member of the ATA, a teaching certificate number is not required.
